How to set up offline mode on a Chromebook

The work offline feature on Chromebook is out of this world – literally. Take a look at the steps below to see how to use Chromebook's offline mode.

Step 1

Make sure that you're connected to the Internet.

Step 2

Open Google Docs.

Step 3

Open the menu. Select Settings.

Step 4

Toggle the switch that says Offline. Then select 'OK'.

Step 5

Files on Google Drive can be edited offline, and will update once you’re back online.
