Our Club

Old Bridgians Netball Club was founded in 2021 by Immy Thornton- Pickering, Sports teacher at Hoe Bridge School in Woking. Immy was nominated for 'Teacher of the Year' at the Netball London & South East ONE Awards 2023. OBNC, sporting colours black and white, is currently volunteer run.

The aim of our club is to promote a love of netball and competition, whilst focusing on the development of

After many national titles and netball successes at prep school level, the club wanted to push the boundaries further by creating more opportunities for players in different competitive environments.

In just two years, have grown from nine to sixty young members, from one team to six, and it has been amazing to see our netball community flourish! As a young club, we are very proud that our success has been abundant at league level, achieved regional titles and qualified for ENG Club National Finals two years running. We currently have members from many schools including, St George's College, Weybridge, Tormead School, Guildford, Guildford High School, Cranleigh, Ripley Court & many more - not forgetting our feeder school Hoe Bridge, Woking.

We are affiliated with England Netball, compete in the Surrey Junior League and many more exciting competitions.

We currently have a number of athletes in the Surrey Netball Pathway.

Over the next few years we are looking to develop and grow further and are excited for the future ahead.
