What's the story?

Published by Teresa at 2:40pm on Thu 21st April 2011.

Well, a world-famous actor allegedly didn't slept with a prostitute (the same one Wayne Rooney didn't sleep with) ... and a judge has now banned all information about it from being published, for ever.

Just being nosey!

Someone told me Brian Figgs, but I may have misheard.

Let it be Russell Brand. I hate that pillock.

...oh sorry, you're on about the actor not the footballer!

Too many super injunctions.

In totally unrelated news I heard someone mention Frank Gallagher.

Published by disko_volante at 2:45pm on Thu 21st April 2011.

apparently there is a similar injunction involving a footballer.

These supeinjunctions are dangerous to democracy to the point where companies tried to stop Parliament debating their actions a few years ago.

Maybe if we could get MPs chatting about this in Parliament the restrictions would be lifted...

Just thinking about holidays, I wonder where might be a good town to visit if one was going to france? In other news back home, I might go to more than one musical event this weekend...

Aah you beat me to it happyted, I was probably being far too cryptic anyway.

I'm fully in support of the courts slapping super injunctions on any story involving celebrities. That way, the newspapers will have to report proper news to fill up space rather than a load of tedious rubbish about people I've usually never heard of and wouldn't give a damn about even if I had.

Published by John Techno at 6:40pm on Sat 23rd April 2011.

The problem is the proper newspapers are now filling themselves with celebrity crap that they wouldn't give two hoots about were it not for this superinjunction crap.

So we're possibly looking at a sportsman who must be very close to the end of his career and who's not exactly been top choice for many a year (I can't remember the last time he played in an international). The other people are so famous that I've never heard of them. Slow news week?

(I can't remember the last time he played in an international). Published by splattergrabs

that's because he retired himself from internationals ages ago (wanted to maximise his club playing) and for his club Ferguson would pick him every time if he didn't want to rest him over a long season and he plays the big games... the Welsh FA tried several times to talk him out of his self imposed retirement but he wouldn't change his mind and he would have walked into the England team, mind you that's not saying much...

Only player to have scored in every Premier league season since it's inception... scored goals that is...

he used to knock about with Dani Behr and one of the the blondes from Holly Oaks, Davinia Taylor...

Yeah, he's a legend. I still don't get why the other party isn't allowed to talk about something which they partook in though, it's baffling. Or is it simply a case that they can't say anything BECAUSE the press aren't legally able to report on it?

Last night, someone on twitter posted these

(no account required to view)

The Telegraph and BBC have both pointed out that it's not true that Jemima Khan was involved which possibly, potentially, allegedly might make the rest of them true:

Re-reading the BBC story - Jemima Khan denies getting the super-injuntion though the Twitter claim is that Clarkson is the one who has it. He probably had a hidden camera, the naughty man.
