Lee Murray, 52, Richie Wermerling, 54, and Rob Jeffrey formed the group in 1993.

They went on to release two albums - Let Loose and Rollercoaster - before splitting in 1996.

Lee and Richie reunited in 2008 to write another track and then also took part in the Another Time, Another Place arena tour that included popular 1990s and 2000s acts.

Richie was lead vocals, Jeffrey was the band's guitarist and backing singer, while Lee was on drums.

Now fellow nineties singer and heartthrob Matthew James Pateman from Bad Boys Inc is set to replace Richie as lead vocalist.

Thirty years on since he shot to fame, Lee told Metro: "We’re so excited to be coming back with Let Loose.

"It’s something our fans have been asking us to do for years, and we’re so happy that everything’s fallen into place with Matthew now as our lead singer, as he’s so brilliant."

Matthew added: "I’ve always had a respect for Let Loose and their music. In the industry, they were always 'dumped' into the 'boy band' category – but they’re more than that.

"They’re great musicians and the craftsmanship of the Let Loose songs have truly stood the test of time."

Pop band Bad Boys Inc notched up six Top 40 hits and a best-selling album.

They flew around the world first class, toured with Take That and Boyzone and performed on the first-ever National Lottery show.

Let Loose's first two singles Crazy For You and The Way I Wanna Be were released in 1993, placing at number 44 and 82.

It was when they re-released Crazy For You in 1994, it smashed the UK charts, hitting the number two spot.

The band managed a total of seven UK top 40 songs.
