Description

A superb stoloniferous species, growing from quite small, white bulbs. These subsequently carry stems from 35 cm up to 80 cm tall clothed with narrow leaves.

In June and July this bears from two to ten, hanging white to palest pink, slightly fragrant, turkscap flowers, delicately veined in pink-purple. These darken to pink-purple with age. The species is variable in the depth of the flower colour.

Leafy or peaty soil, in shade, with plenty of space to allow the stolons to creep. This stock derives from seed-raised plants from seed of material originally collected in China under the number Cox 5103.
