Description
A most elegant and choice plant, this makes a 15 cm stem with 10-12 small, clustered, hanging, bells of bright cornflower-blue, with blue stamens, late in the summer.
This has very thin upright bulbs and slender, almost hair-like, foliage. Small and delicate in its appearance but easily grown. It prefers a moist, humus-rich, woodland type or humus-rich soil, but in full sun. A peat garden is ideal and the bulbs should be left to form a clump rather than being divided.
