Korean Hornbeam Bonsai Tree, Carpinus Turczaninowii. Red autumn / fall leaf colour. This Bonsai Tree is around 12 inches tall and sits in a mica drum pot. The moss growing on the surface of the soil is self-seeded. It is grown from a partly trained imported bonsai tree acquired from a bonsai nursery. This is how the tree looked in late October 2008.
