Found in Colombia without locational data as a mini-miniature sized, shortly repent epiphyte with erect, slender, terete ramicauls with 2 to 3 tubular basal sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thinly coriaceous, narrowly linear-ovate, acute, contrracted below into the sessile base leaf that blooms on 1 to 3, subtended by a spathe , from the apex of the ramicaul, peduncle .2 to .32" [5 to 8 mm] long .6" [15 mm] long overall, simultaneously 2 flowered racemes, inflorescence with oblique, acute, as long as the pedicel floral bracts and carrying with greenish white, sparsely spotted with light purple flowers. .

"This species, apparently from Colombia, is distinguished by a repent rhizome and slender ramicauls with equally long, very narrowly ovate, thick, more or less fusiform leaves. The pale, faintly-purple-spotted flowers are produced simultaneously in a 2-flowered raceme borne by a short peduncle. The margins of the sepals above the short sepaline tube recurve with the tip of the narrowly triangular dorsal sepal touching the tip of the synsepal. The petals are obovate and acute with microscopically serrulate margins. The lip is thick and verrucose with a pair of retrorse lateral lobes on the lower third." Luer 2012
