Flower Size .8” [2 cm] long

Found in the Philippines as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to subglobose pseudobulbs enveloped by large brown, striated sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, broad to ovate-lanceolate, obtuse, very thick, fleshy, dark green above, paler beneath, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, often 2, long, slender, curved, jointed inflorescence partially enveloped by brown bracts.
