Found in New Caledonia in rain forests and dense scrub at elevations of 600 to 1400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with subconical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly ovate, rounded apically, abruptly narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late fall, winter and early spring on a shorter than the leaf, to 1.2” [3 cm] long, simultaneously single to 2 flowered inflorescence
