Found in India in moist deciduous, dry semi-evergreen forest as a medium to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying leathery, bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring and early summer on an axillary, horizontal to arching, usually branching basally, to 10" [25 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with waxy, fragrant flowers
