Description

Previously known as Austromyrtus minutiflora, this tree up to 15 m tall grows along Half Moon creek, as well there are plantings near A1 and A3. The opposite, lanceolate leaves are somewhat 3-veined at the base, up to about 7 cm long and 3.2 cm wide. Flowers are on pedicels 3-11 mm long, petals 5 white, 2-3 mm long; the fruit is a depressed globular berry with a persistent calyx near the apex, 5-10 mm diameter, black when ripe.
