Allium peninsulare is a species of wild onion. It is known by such common names as Mexicali onion and Peninsula onion; the latter reflecting the meaning of the botanical name (e.g. Baja California). It is found in California, USA, where it grows in the California Coast Ranges, Sierra Nevada foothills, and Peninsular Ranges, down into the northernmost part of Baja California, Mexico.
