The Baseball Plant, Euphorbia obesa, is a small, symmetrical plant that stays nearly perfectly round. The stem has (usually 8) sides divided by small tubercles that resemble the stitching on a baseball. It has variable coloration with bands of blue-green, copper, silver, or purple. They need particularly gritty soil and should be kept dry during their winter dormancy. Each plant is either male or female and produces tiny, yellow flowers atop its stem. Over time, they elongate and can reach 12.0” tall and 4.0” wide. This species is endangered in its native habitats in South Africa.

Plant purchased will be similar to the images shown but may vary in size and color depending on the season.

All orders are shipped bare root or semi bare root without pot within 1-5 days depending on availability of the plant. All orders are packed with care and are shipped on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. We only ship within the United States and its territories.

When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to gentle remove them from their packaging immediately. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
