Zizotes aka Sidecluster & Longhorn Milkweed Seeds. Asclepias oenotheroides. A Southwestern Perennial native that has a very unique and unusual flowering pattern. It's creamy light green flowers form in clusters along the stem. Can form many branches from stem at ground level and can grow as wide as it is tall. Height: 12-18 in. Native to south central US. Cold stratification is optional but may increase germination rates for fresher seeds ( Under 6 months). Ready to sow when the ground temps are above 60 degrees or start seeds indoors 6 weeks prior to planting outside. Habitat: Grows in sandy, rocky ground conditions, prairies, ditches and fields. This species survives periodic droughts and occasional mowing.

Conditions: Needs full sun. Shade intolerant.
