Sweet Flag is a great addition to patios, gardens, or for use in landscaping in general. During bloom, Acorus calamus develops long, sweet-smelling flowers. Sweet Flag is a perennial, and will regrow year after year. These plant seeds are incredibly easy to grow, and germinate readily.

Germinating Sweet Flag:

The seeds must be chilled to 50°F before being planted. First, moisten a paper towel, and place your seeds inside the towel. Then, place the paper towel inside a plastic baggie. Store this baggie in a refrigerator for one week. Afterwards, the seeds can be sown in well-draining, room temperature soil.
