Aechmea distichantha is a nearly indestructible plant, surviving heat, drought, sun, and even brief freezes! The colorful flower spike will last for months!
This species will grow in full shade to full sun conditions. It will multiply rapidly to give you more blooms every year!

The bromeliad you receive will be an un-bloomed offset recently removed from the mother plant. It is ready to be potted up or planted in the ground and will usually have no roots when shipped. Long leaves may be trimmed to fit a 26" mailing tube. All plants are outdoor-grown and perfect for landscape use or indoor culture.

Bromeliads are care-free landscape plants in the appropriate climate, or can be grown as houseplants anywhere.
