Josh Brolin and Diane Lane are to divorce after more than eight years of marriage.
The Cinema Verite actress, 48, and the Gangster Squad actor, 45, have parted ways, according to representatives for the couple.
They told Us Weekly: "Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage. It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."
The pair held their nuptials in August 2004 and are said to have ended their relationship a couple of months ago.
They have no children together and this will be the second divorce for both stars.
Lane was married to actor Christopher Lambert from 1988 to 1994, while Brolin tied the knot with actress Alice Adair, with whom he has two children - Trevor, 24, and Eden, 18.
