Exeter University Officers' Training Corps (EUOTC) is a unique society where students from all walks of life thrive, having exciting and rewarding experiences and make friends for life. As a member of EUOTC you will have amazing adventures and develop transferable skills. You can do all of this alongside your studies, with the added bonus of being paid!

Based in Wyvern Barracks, not far from Exeter City Centre, we are an Army Reserve unit that recruits exclusively from university students across Exeter, Plymouth and sometimes further afield.

We're affiliated to University of Exeter, Plymouth University, Plymouth Marjon University, Exeter and Plymouth City Colleges (University-level courses only).

You are under no obligation to join the Regular Army or Army Reserves after your time with the UOTC finishes.

A STUDENT LIFE LESS ORDINARY

The Exeter University Officers' Training Corps (EUOTC) offers a unique experience to university students looking to challenge and develop themselves, make life-long friends and get paid.

Training takes place in Exeter on a Wednesday evening during term time and at other locations over the south west on weekends. Once a year we conduct a two week training period.

You will receive internationally recognised Military and leadership training along with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of sports and adventurous training activities. The training is designed to fit around your academic commitments, and you are under no obligation to join the Regular Army or Army Reserves.

EUOTC were lucky enough to go to Gibraltar on Exercise Barbary Warrior this year - see the video clip at the bottom of the page to see some of what they got up to.
