Photos of Eucalyptus olsenii

The new leaves of E. olsenii in my garden in late summer.  Note the reddish new growth.

Eucalyptus olsenii at Olympia Christian Reformed Church, Olympia, WA.

The above tree got this far before it died the following winter.  As it was quite a mild winter, I can only assume that this species does not like growing in clay or requires excellent drainage.  (Fortunately it is quite ornamental even when dead!)
