Attractive South African aloe with stiff, pale green to blue-green leaves that arch up in inward a bit. Leaves do not bend at all and will break if attempts made to bend them. Plant overall looks a lot like Aloe claviflora though flowers very different and very different time of year. Plant I acquired was tentatively identified as A claviflora, but ended up being falcata... bloomed in middle of the summer and flowers orange on many branched, open columnar racemes. Definitely a sun and heat lover... growing this in any shade at all is likely to result in rotting of the plant (I found that out from personal experience). Probably an excellent choice for many warmer areas of Arizona.
