After a Scandinavian buffet breakfast at the hotel, we were brought to the major shopping street, Drottninggatan, right in the city centre of Stockholm and given 1.5 hours of free time!  Finally some time to roam around on our own, though still very limited……

Drottninggatan (Queen Street) is a major pedestrian street and largely car-free, lined up with numerous shops, such as H&M and the Åhléns City department store.  It is also popular with tourists like me especially during summer. 🙂

Thankfully, despite the short time given to us, we still managed to buy souvenirs/ gifts for family and friends as well as for ourselves, given the wide range of tourist shops and department stores available.  I want to go there again next time! 😉
