Cissus adenopoda is an African native with the valid botanical name Cyphostemma adenopodum, but it is more commonly known by the synonym Cissus adenopoda. It is a gorgeous fast growing vine that climbs by tendrils and will make a beautiful hanging basket, or climb up a trellis. The leaves are compound and are composed of three leaflets. The leaf surface is covered with reddish hairs, which gives it a velvety feel. The back of the leaf is red. The flowers are small and insignificant. This plant has a tough time in transit and does require >60% humidity; some leaves will likely be wilted, crispy, or falling off when received but does not indicate the overall health of the plant and is normal & should be expected. Upgraded shipping methods in the summer and winter are highly recommended.

Care of Cissus adenopoda:
Shade to partial sun, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, climbing vine to 20 ft. allow to get slightly dry between waterings, humidity at or above 60%.
