The beauty of nature captured.

Yellow Walking Iris (Trimezia steyermarkii Foster)

Often associated or mistaken for  T. martinicensis and Neomarica longifolia, probably because of the almost similar features, Trimezia steyermarkii  is the commonly grown Yellow Walking Iris characterized by  yellow, sometimes curly (at the end)  petals with brown spots at the center supported by a round or slightly flattened stalks.

Neomaricas, on the other hand,  have stalks which are as flat as the leaves while T. martinicencis has smaller petals and suberect inner tepals.
