Lady Gaga wears meat dress no2 although this time it’s vegetarian

Lady Gaga's most famous fashion choice to date has to be the meat dress she wore to the MTV VMAs in 2010 — but following a backlash from vegetarian groups, the singer has decided on a more animal-friendly option the second time round.

It's not like Lady Gaga to recycle her looks but that's exactly what she's done as she tweeted a photo of her wearing a very similar meat dress to the one she previously wore.

As the singer rehearsed in Japan for the Born This Way tour, she posed for the photo of her clad in a plastic dress flanked by fake carcasses.

Her new clobber was cut to look like slabs of raw beef and contoured her frame with a sweetheart neckline and corset-effect top half complete with a full mini skirt.

The look was finished off with plastic ankle boots, a beehive and low-slung ponytail paired with dramatic false lashes.

Not only does the new version of the dress appear more fitted it also looks like it will stand up to the demands of a global tour, while the original version would require constant refrigeration.

While in Tokyo, Lady Gaga has donned some impressive outfits, at the weekend she tweeted a photo of her in a studded leotard slashed to the waist.

And of course it wouldn't be a Gaga tour without some flesh flashing, which is exactly what she did when she posed for another pic, this time showing off her chest, thankfully some strategically placed tape saved her modesty.
