Distribution and Habitat
Gillingara to Williams, growing in sandy, sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests, woodlands and shrublands.

Description
A common species 200–400 mm high with two to three smooth leaves 80–150 mm long by 5–10 mm wide and up to eight yellow, brown and purple flowers 25–35 mm across.
Distinguishing Features
It is distinguished from the related Winter Donkey Orchid (Diuris brumalis) by its later flowering period.
