Fragrant white flowers in a cyme inflorescence shape found in axillary positions. Fruit is a globose drupe. Genus Clerodendrum is from the Greek word "kleros", which means chance or fate and it refers to the unknown and doubtful medicinal properties of the plant. Species calamitosum means ruinous or causing loss.

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
