Hot Lips Sage Salvia microphylla 'Hot Lips'

Salvia hot lips plant grow and care – shrub‎ of the genus Salvia also known as Salvia microphylla, Hot lips plant or Baby sage, Salvia hot lips perennial evergreen used as edible leaves and also for the ornamental flowers and the fragrant, can grow in subtropics, mediterranean, temperate climate and growing in hardiness zone: 10-11 as perennial and hardiness zone 5-9 (as annual), in hardiness zone 9 can grow as perennial with the right overwinter care.

Leaves are edible and fragrant in color green in ovate shape the leaves hairy, leaves flavor remind blackcurrant (with a little bit imagination).

The plant is currently growing in a 1 gallon container, but will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plant will be between 9 to 12 inches in height. Planting guidelines will also be included.
