Abstract :

Several localities inside this area were explored and the floristic lists were made and herbarium specimens were collected. A total of 466 species of native and introduced species of plants were identified, which grow in eight different types of natural vegetation or in the secondary vegetation. The microphyllous evergreen forest and the coastal and subcoastal xeromorphic thicket have the highest floristic richness. The endemic species represent 16 % among all the native species identified. Populations of 26 threatened species were found. The protected area shows good state of conservation in spite of some negative impacts such as partial cutting of the microphyllous evergreen forest and the presence of exotic species.
