Dossinia marmorata var. dayii orchid. Pictures show an example of what you will get, almost all are very similar in size and condition. **Please note that jewel orchids in general don't have large root systems, as these are smaller starter size the roots WILL be small on them**

All plants are rooted unless otherwise mentioned in the description. 

If you see a white powder on the roots, when I transplant I use a mycorrhizae dip which is beneficial for nutrient uptake and plant health and growth. It doesn’t need to be rinsed off or removed, the plant will use it up eventually!

I generally ship with the plant taken out of the pot and slid into a compostable nursery bag- I can close the bag around the lower stem of the plant so moss/dirt doesn’t get all over, and since it isn’t rigid, it’s just in general easier to ship. I do use stiff paper, corrugated cardboard, and polyfil. I also recycle things like newspapers to use as stuffing to prevent waste.
