Genus Verticordia DC. (1828)[edit]
Verticordia is a beautifully flowered genus of woody shrubs found in the south west of Australia. They are also called Featherflowers, their massed flowerheads form striking displays in the heathlands and forests of that botanic province. (adapted from the english wikipedia.)
