I have totally fallen for Massonia. I have one mature plant in my collection at the moment and she just flowered (see our last photo to take a look at mine this week). These plants feature an onion-like base and put out two leaves a year. Leaf size depends on the maturity of the plant, this is a young starter plant, probably in its first or second year. These start to flower in their third year. So far mine has been in bloom for a week with no signs of her bloom fading. The leaves are heavily textured and pattered, almost feels like sandpaper. This starter Massonia is measuring in at about an inch across and has fleshy roots.

Photos were taken by the cultivating farm. The video was taken post-transit at Cedar Creek Farmhouse. Our videos for this year's Black Friday Collection were taken no earlier than November 20th, 2020 and no later than November 26th, 2020. This means that any video you see today was taken within this past week, and some even more recent. Plants can change after they arrive, as they are living things. Slight changes can be expected and it's a natural part of the settling in process these plants go through as they reacclimate to their new home.
