This 1998 TVR Cerbera is one of approximately 1,500 examples produced between 1996 and 2006 and is powered by a 4.2-liter AJP8 “Speed Eight” V8. The car was purchased by the seller in Europe in 2022 and was imported to the US the following July. Finished in Halcyon Midas Pearl over black leather upholstery, the car features a five-speed manual transmission, AP Racing brakes, 18″ alloy wheels, power windows, air conditioning, and a Pioneer stereo. It is said to have received replacement chassis outriggers as well as a clutch and cylinders under prior ownership. The seller has had the dashboard and headliner leather reupholstered as well as a throttle body balancing service completed in 2023. This Cerbera shows 58k miles and is now offered in California with a binder of service records, import documentation copies, and a Nevada title in the seller’s name.

Gray-finished 18″ alloy wheels feature TVR center caps and wear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on three wheels, with a Bridgestone Potenza tire mounted on the left-rear wheel. The Cerbera was not offered with an anti-lock braking system or traction control.

The two-spoke multifunction steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and fuel-level gauge flank an air vent below the steering wheel hub. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter AJP8 “Speed Eight” V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft and was factory rated at 360 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The seller states they have had a throttle body balancing service completed in August 2023 as well as an oil change, battery replacement, and spark plug wire replacement in September 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner five-speed manual transmission.
