Flower Size .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm]

Found in the Chinese Himalayas, Assam, the eastern Himalayas, Nepal and Myanmar at elevations of 1600 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an elongate, creeping rhizome giving rise to ovoid-conical to obpyriform, rugose, bright green pseudobulbs that are 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] apart and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong to oblanceolate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a slender, sheathed, glabrous, 8 to 10.8" " [20 to 27 cm] long, laxly 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, papery, acute, distichous, suberect floral bracts and carrying honey-scented flowers
