Common Name The Ivory Colored Masdevallia [refers to the sepals color]

Found in Panama at eleavtions of 1900 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical-obovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a slender, erect, 4.4 to 5.2" [11 to 13 cm] long, rapidly successive to simultaneously few flowered, racemose inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract at the base and oblique floral bracts.
