Common Name Parrish's Coelogyne [English Collector in Burma 1800's]

This small medium sized, warm to hot growing epiphytic orchid is found in lower Burma at elevations around 120 meters with very narrowly conical, yellowish, angled pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, elliptic or lanceolate, subacute leaves and blooms in the spring on a terminal, pendant or erect, 4" [10 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with 3 to 5, large, simultaneously opening, fragrant flowers arising on a mature pseudobulb.

CAUTION This photo does not agree with the photo in Claytons the Genus Coelogyne but it does match his written description. E & J George 2011 have a drawing and photo that is exact to this photo .
