Found in the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Yunnan Pprovince ofChina, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand at elevations of 500-2500 meters high up on trees in evergreen forest as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a slender, creeping rhizome with .6 to 2" [1.5 to 5 cm] between each, cylindric to narrowly cylindric pseduobulb carrying a single, apical erect, oblong, apically rounded, retuse, narrowing towards the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, subumbellate, 2 to 10 flowered, filiform, 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with basal tubular sheaths and lanceolate, acute, concave, membraneous, white floral bracts.
