Synonyms:

Epiphyte, with spreading, to 30 cm long, stem-like rhizome. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs subcylindrical, almost parallel to the rhizome, 1.3-2 by 0.3-0.5 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf erect-patent, elliptic-ligulate, apiculate, 7.5-8.5 by 1.4-1.7 cm near the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, covered with small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate, somewhat longer than the ovary. Median sepal suborbicular, broadly obtuse, 0.33 cm long; margins minutely ciliate. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong, obtuse, up to near the apex boat-shaped-connate, as long as the median sepal; margins ciliate. Petals subreniform, slightly retuse, 0.08 by 0.1 cm: upper margin minutely ciliate. Lip elliptic, broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long; base cuneate; margins except at the apex ciliate with very short, patent hairs. Column very short; stelidia fairly long, obliquely rhombic, apiculate; column-foot in the middle swollen, straight. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 0.28 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
