Synonyms:
Epiphyte, slender, 20-28 cm high. Rhizome creeping, flexuose. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs conical-cylindrical, 2-3 cm by 0.3-0.5 cm above the base. Leaf erect, narrowly lanceolate-ligulate, acute, glabrous, 12-25 by 0.8-1.6 cm near the middle; base gradually narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescence erect-patent, with a few small, distant peduncle-scales, slender, rigid, 7-15 cm long. Inflorescence rather laxly several-flowered, gradually elongated, bracts distichous ovate, apiculate, almost 3 times shorter than the pedicellate ovary. Flowers glabrous. Sepals patent, 2.2 cm long. Median sepal lanceolate, acuminate. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong, shortly acuminate. Petals linear-lanceolate, sharply acute, oblique, c. 1 cm long. Lip oblong, subacute, c. 1.8 by 0.7 cm in the middle; base with 2 keels; basal half above sparsely verruculose. Column slender, straight; stelidia hardly conspicuous, tooth-like; column-foot lightly curved. Ovary pedicellate, glabrous, c. 1.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
Flower yellowish white. Sepals and petals at the base with red dots. Lip golden yellow, spotted red at the base.
Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 800-1320 m.
Malesia (New Guinea).
Intermediate growing epiphyte.
