and ecological information. Further details can be found in the
original publications as well as illustrations and photographs. It is
worth noting:
- abbreviations used are: FdM
= Flore de Madagascar, key = Abraham
& Schroff (1991) Clef de determination de 56 essences
ligneuses des forets dense seches de la cote ouest de Madagascar.
During the rainy season, when trees are in full leaf, the key provided
by Abraham
& Schroff should be used.
- Mostly, publications are
highlighted
by the topic they deal with and the full reference is given in the bibliography.
However, many papers are not available online due to copyrights issues
and are available upon request.
- local names are listed separately.
- Locations where a species can be readily found are given
separately for the camp, CS5, CS7 and the main track. |
