Description: 

With a mostly pendulous, apically uprising stem carrying, terete, obtuse, channeled above leaves that blooms in the spring on a .1 cm long, several flowered inflorescence with very short rounded floral bracts.

Distribution:

Andaman Is., Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, Jawa, Laos, Malaya, Nicobar Is., Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam (Hà Giang, Hương Hóa, Quảng Trị, Lâm Đồng).

Ecological:

On trees in montane forests at elevations of sealevel to 1000 m as a medium to large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the spring.

Flower size:

8.0 cm.

Cultivation:

Plants are best grown hanged in baskets and on mounted and usually require moderate sunlight and intermediate to warm temperatures. Plants should be grown in media that is well drained such as medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Water plant regularly.
