Japanese Anemone is a reliable fall blooming flower

Is it hot enough for you? As I write this article, we are in some of the hottest and most miserable weather of this summer. The temperatures this week are expected to be in the upper 90s with humidity to match. At times, I hate the South. However, in another month or so we will be experiencing some of our most pleasant weather with flowers that go with it.

Fall is beautiful in Georgia and has just as many colors as spring, not even counting the fall foliage that will be arriving soon. We have almost as many late summer and fall blooming flowers as we do in the spring. Below is just a sampling of some of our nicest fall flowers.
