Eriospermum dielsianum ssp dielsianum - R 3454 Patryskloof E of Worcester
I am never confident when dealing with the differences between Eriospermum dielsianum and Eriospermum pubescens. In the latter case the abaxial leaf hairs are pressed against the leaf and
have a golden brown shine. In the case of Eriospermum dielsianum the hairs are straight and tend to curl. I must admit they are still very close to the leaf surface. The flowers of the two species are similar.
I hope to supply more info later.

The leaves are quite variable in shape, but are mostly heart shaped
Euphorbia polygona var. minor - Schoemanspoort area
An attractive variety. Similarly white to the Uniondale form but smaller.
The cyathia are green and the plants belong to the Horrida group.
According to my knowledge the plants only occur in one small area. There are reports however of similar plants being wider spread.
Photographs by mr. Gerhard Marx.
