After delivering the wrong item they immediately acknowledged their mistake and sent a correct replacement - very helpful staff.

Considering I live on the Isle of Wight the delivery time scale was great . Order was correct and staff at the metal store very good .

All items except one were 48.3 (one which wasn't was 60.3) - very helpful phone call to check if this was right

Internet marketing services and products were good, only let down by the product tracking and late delivery.

order was late, so I emailed them to be told, nil stock, hence late despatch. When order came, it was not wrapped to usual high standard in that they had omitted to brace the package with a piece of sawn pine timber and hence the package was a) not protected from the ravages of white van man and, b) the metal broke free of the plastic wrapping sheet. Delivery driver was next to useless, when asked/told " I hope the metal is not bent", he replied, " course not mate, its metal". Great. Thanks. Not your usual standard, but I will go back to you, you are usually great.

First problem was order was mis-routed by the deliver Tuffnell's - not The Metal Store's fault, and they did take the trouble to let me know.
Second problem was the order (when it had arrived) was not exactly as I had carefully specified. However when I raised this with them by email and by phone it was quickly rectified and a replacement piece sent.
