Central to the collection is the Danger of Words, the 1973 text described by Ray Monk as 'the most truly Wittgensteinian book published by any of Wittgenstein's students'.

Most of his publications are reprinted in this volume. The book includes Drury's two best-known pieces: Conversations with Wittgenstein and Some Notes on Conversations with Wittgenstein.

The new introduction contains a memoir of Drury as well as some commentary on his writings. This new edition will be of interest to philosophers, psychiatrists and theologians, and those interested in the life and thought of Wittgenstein.
