This fireplace must be installed on a level surface capable of supporting the fireplace and venting. Fireplace must be placed directly on wood or non-combustible surface (not linoleum or carpet) extending the entire depth and width of fireplace. Metal sealing strips must be used under fireplace and hearth extension.
