Description

Title: "DEVICE APPLIED TO SKATEBOARDS AND SIMILARS" DISCLOSURE OF THE PATENT Refers the present object to a new and functional decorative device on skateboards, through the use of an acrylic plate with internal illumination. This plate possesses mini-lamps resistant to impact, with oval shapes on its ends, with conventional trucks, bearings and wheels. The illumination of the shape provides safety besides being decorative, differing from other skateboards. The present object is destined to allow skaters, for leisure or professionally, to have improved safety on their performances, especially during the night, where the lighting of the shape (oval plate) allows for a better identification of obstacles on streets or halfs, besides aiding the finding of the skateboard, due to its illumination, when it falls far from its user. Its weight and resistance are improved when compared to conventional models, improving the performance. Its visual impact is a great decorative feature and sports clearly brands, logos and promotional messages on the shape. Another security factor is the easy identification of the skateboard and it's user by car drivers, avoiding accidents. For wooden shapes, the oval board is provided with a re-entrance through the entire side boarder, where there are "cocoon-like" formations, for the lamps, stored in parallel, with a wiring connecting the set to a battery box that feeds the lamps. For acrylic shapes, the oval board has a central storage with a lid, provided with parallel rulers of lamps; connect through wirings to the battery box. On both boards, there are spots for brands and promotional messages that, due to the illumination of the shape, are in eminence. The acrylic shape has three transversal side stripes, solid, to better sustain a heavy weight, meaning that the user's weight should be held majorly by these transversal stripes, that also separate the shape in different blocks, allowing for a contrasts of lamps in these blocks. In one of these stripes there 1 is an internal space, forming and compartment to store the battery and in its
upper part it has a lid to provide access to the battery for maintenance, as well
as the lamp set. This lid is smooth, with no bolts and a rubber covering around,
for keeping the pressure when closed. The inner illumination must be uniform
inside the blocks; therefore the lamps must be placed in a central inner row.
The measures follow the pattern of the length and width, with an increased
thickness of 0,8 cm, going from 1 ,2 cm to 2,0 cm, gaining resistance and inner
space on the shape for the lamps.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
For a perfect view and understanding of the "DEVICE APPLIED TO
SKATEBOARDS AND SIMILARS", present object, follows a series of
illustrative drawings, where:
Fig. 1 - shows a perspective inner view of the object, with an acrylic
board;
Fig. 2 - shows a perspective view of the acrylic plate with the lid open l β with a close up detailing the battery compartment;
Fig. 3 - shows a perspective view of the object with a wooden plate, with
a close up detailing the side connections to the lamps.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PATENT
According to the illustrations and it's details, "DEVICE APPLIED TO
SKATEBOARDS AND SIMILARS", present object, is characterized by a
skateboard (1), a oval wooden board (2), with an re-entrance (3) through the
side boarder (4) with lamps (5), fixed on the cocoons (6), connected through
wirings (7) to the battery (9) box (8). The skateboard (1) may have an oval
acrylic board (10), with parallel rulers of lamps (13) connected through wirings
(7) to the battery (9) box (8). The wooden board (2) and the acrylic board (10)
have promotional messages (14) on the upper face (2A-1 OA).
For the advantages it offers and by possessing truly innovative features,
the "DEVICE APPLIED TO SKATEBOARDS AND SIMILARS" gathers all
necessary conditions for earning the Utility Model Patent.
