Abstract
A fatigue monitoring system may monitor the fatigue of a person in real time. An electronic camera may be configured to capture substantially clear, sequential images of an area occupied by an eye of the person while in close proximity to the eye. A camera support system may be attached to the electronic camera. The camera support system may be configured to be worn by the person and to position the camera while being worn by the person in close proximity to and substantially in front of the eye. This position may enable the camera to capture substantially clear, sequential images of the area occupied by the eye. An image processing system may be configured to extract information from the images indicative of the fatigue. A transmitter system may be configured to wirelessly transmit the information indicative of the fatigue to a location remote from the person.
