Description
Die
Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Steuerung von Videodarstellungen,
insbesondere einen Game-Controller zur Steuerung von Videospielen.
Eine weitere Anwendungsmöglichkeit der Einrichtung besteht
in der Anwendung als Steuergerät für technische
Systeme. So kann die Einrichtung für die Fernsteuerung
von Objekten im Rahmen des Modellbaues oder für TV-Geräte
Anwendung finden. Ebenso kann sie Bestandteil eines Präsentationspointers
sein. Weiterhin findet die Einrichtung als behindertengerechtes
Eingabesystem für Personalcomputer, zum Beispiel als Mausersatz,
Anwendung. Bekannt sind Verfahren zur Durchführung von
Videospielen, bei denen 3-D-Bewegungsabläufe mittels Game-Controller
auf Displays oder Leinwänden beziehungsweise Spielkonsolen
wiedergegeben werden. Dazu werden die vom Bediener erzeugten Bewegungen
in horizontaler, vertikaler und einer Vorwärts/Rückwärts
Richtung erfasst. Aus diesen drei Werten wird die jeweilige darzustellende
resultierende räumliche Bewegung ermittelt und an die Wiedergabeeinrichtung
