Abstract

Description

Die Satellitenkamera verfügt über zumindest (bzw. genau) einen Ein- und einen Ausgang und kann das Bild der Hauptkamera mit dem Bild der Satellitenkamera in einem Videodatenstrom kombinieren, z. B. unter Verwendung eines Multiplexers. Dieser Videodatenstrom wird über den Videoausgang der Satellitenkamera und eine eventuell längere Videoleitung auf die zumindest eine Auswerteeinheit geführt, auf der der kombinierte Videodatenstrom wieder in die ursprünglichen zwei Datenströme verwandelt wird, um z. B. Stereo-Bildverarbeitung für Fahrerassistenzfunktionen zu realisieren. Für eine Stereofunktion überlappen die Erfassungsbereiche von Haupt- und Satellitenkamera zumindest teilweise.
